Orthodontic Emergency!

We are on hand 7 days a week to ensure your treatment journey with us is as comfortable as possible.

Common orthodontic concerns

Tenderness after adjustment visit?

It's normal to have some mild discomfort for the first 2-3days following an adjustment visit as your teeth get used to their new positions.

We suggest: Panadol or Neurofen or Aspirin as needed. Eat soft foods and cold drinks can help.

Something sharp poking you?

Have you tried our orthodontic wax?

If you can spot the sharp wire, try bend the soft wires back in, or tuck it under one of your other braces.

Otherwise, call us and we will promptly see you to make things more comfortable.

Out of Elastics?

Not to worry, simply drop into one of our clinics and pick up some more.

Alternatively, call us and we can arrange to have some posted out for a small fee.

My bite feels funny!

To get your bite to its stable, end result, there may be some transitory bite changes. We will prescribe orthodontic elastics to help you achieve the stable bite as quickly as possible.

If you are experiencing any jaw pain, or functional limitations, please call us.
